The past decade has seen an explosion of activity in the American craft beer scene. Local brewers throughout the USA are reviving historical styles while at the same time exploring uncharted waters, putting themselves at the forefront of beer-making worldwide. AmeriCraft Imports seeks to introduce the best in American craft beers to the Hong Kong market.
Laurie Goldberg, the founder and Managing Director of AmeriCraft Imports, is an attorney and beer enthusiast who moved from Los Angeles, California, to Hong Kong with her husband Adam, a fellow beer lover and avid home brewer. While living in the USA, Laurie and Adam traveled extensively to sample the country's best local and regional beers. Saddened to find little American craft beer in Hong Kong, as well as little knowledge of the exciting developments in American brewing, AmeriCraft Imports was born from Laurie's desire to keep drinking her favorite American brews and to change the perceptions of American beer in Hong Kong. We source all our beers directly from the breweries to bring you the freshest product possible.
AmeriCraft Imports is proud to be a founding member of the Craft Beer Association of Hong Kong (www.cbahk.org), a not-for-profit organization aimed at raising craft beer awareness and promoting its responsible enjoyment in Hong Kong.
